Southern Custom Builders was founded with the desire to create a small, intimate construction firm capable of building large, complex projects while remaining true to its identity, authenticity, and soul.

This idea — conceived of during a surf trip along the Gulf Coast — is not revolutionary, but it is hard to execute. In fact, more than one of the guys on that surf trip worked for companies that had tried and failed. Construction is competitive, fickle, and demanding. It is easy to wander off course, put profit over people, and forget your purpose.
